The District of Columbia experienced the following losses to homicides in recent days:

• November 21 — 1400 block of L Street, SE (shooting)
  First District, Ward 6
  36 year-old Marcus Wallace, of Northeast
• November 23 — 1600 block of Olive Street, Northeast (11/18 shooting)
  Ward 7
  48-year-old Elias Flores, of Adelphi, MD

We are still in the 30-day mourning period for the following individuals lost to violence in the District:

• October 27 — 700 block of Kennedy Street, NW (10/23 police-involved incident)

• October 27 — 2800 block of Georgia Avenue, NW (shooting)
  Third District, Ward 1
  25-year-old Glenn Wright, of Northeast
• October 30 — 4200 block of 4th Street, SE (shooting)

  21-year-old Lorraine Marie Thomas, of Southeast
• November 1 — 1300 block of Maple View Place, SE (shooting)

  16-year-old Kareem Palmer, of Southeast

  19-year-old Franklin Hernandez Arevalo, of Alexandria, VA
• November 10, 2020, in the 1400 Block of Howard Road, SE (10/9 shooting)

  25-year-old Martez Jackson, of District Heights, MD.
• November 11, 2020, in the 4300 block of Wheeler Road, SE (shooting)

  47-year-old Jeanette Walls, of No Fixed Address
• November 12 — 1400 block of Tobias Drive, SE (shooting)
  Seventh District, Ward 8
  18-year-old Navaras Johnson, of Southwest
• November 15 — 3100 block of 16th Street, NW (stabbing)
  Third District
  38-year-old Andrew Tillman, of no fixed address
• November 19 — 1400 block of North Capitol Street, NW (shooting)
  Third District
  59-year-old Marcella Johnson, of Southeast

Two additional deaths, which occurred earlier in the year, were announced as homicides during the week of 11/12/20:

• July 21 — 5000 block of Hanna Place, SE (6/30/20 shooting)
  Homicide announced 11/17/20
  41-year-old Carey Edwin Jones, of Northeast
• October 22, 2020– 3rd Street Tunnel, Mass. Ave, NW (7/30/19 shooting)
  Victim died on October 22; homicide announced 11/17/20
  52-year-old Leon Williams, of Northeast
