Neighbors Lost to Violence Dec 8 – 14

The District of Columbia experienced the following losses to violence in recent days:

• December 9 — 3400 block of Stanton Road, SE (shooting)
  Seventh District, Ward 8
  30-year-old Ajaye Smith, of Southeast

In addition to the above, some information on the Metro Center shooting was released AFTER after last week’s post went out. Update repeated for those who did not see:

• December 7 — 11th & G Streets, NW (shooting)
  off-duty federal officer reportedly shot the decedent
  during an altercation on the Metro platform
  28-year-old Troy Bullock of Southeast

  37-year-old Dana Bailey of Southeast
