The District of Columbia lost the following individuals to violence in recent days:

  62-year-old Curtis Leon Harrison, of No Fixed Address
• April 13 — 1000 block of Southern Avenue, SE (stabbing)
  46-year-old Chester Belfield, of Temple Hills, MD
• April 15 — 2400 block of Pomeroy Road, SE (shooting)
  31-year-old Antwan Hucks, of Oxon Hill, MD
• April 17 — 5100 block of Southern Avenue, SE (shooting)
  decedent not yet been identified as of 10 p.m. Wednesday

  23-year-old Rafiq Hawkins, of Northeast
• March 30 — 300 block of 62nd Street, NE (shooting)
  54-year-old Anthony Williams, of no fixed address.
• April 1 — 3300 block of Alabama Avenue, SE (shooting)
  44-year-old Rodney Gordon, of Southeast
• April 1 — 4600 block of Hillside Road, SE (shooting)
  28-year-old Maurice Wheeler, of no fixed address.
• April 4 — 4900 block of Nash Street, NE (gunshot)
  23-year-old Jobe McDowney, of Southeast
• April 4 — 4900 block of Nash Street, NE (gunshot)
  21-year-old Desimon Richardson, of Temple Hills, MD.
• April 5 — 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE (stabbing)
  49-year-old Edwin Richardson, of Southeast
• April 7 — 1800 block of Q Street, SE (4/2 assault)
  33-year-old Melvin Edward Quick, of Southeast
• April 7 — 2400 block of Wagner Street, SE (gunshot)
  28-year-old Montray Brown, of Southeast
• April 8 — 3400 block of Benning Road, NE (assault)
  62-year-old Curtis Leon Harrison, of No Fixed Address
• April 9 — 600 block of Galveston Place, SE (assault)
  62-year-old Arnold Smith, of Southeast

In addition, the victim in a 27-year-old shooting case was identified recently:

• 26-year-old Steven Glover was identified as the victim whose remains were found in 1992, following a shooting in the 3500 block of Commodore Joshua Barney Drive, NE
